Education Resources is a preferred provider of accredited continuing education courses. Our live and online courses provide the continuing education units (CEUs) you need to advance your career and patient outcomes.
From AOTA to ASHA, ERI is approved, accredited and respected on a state and national level. Browse our extensive list of approvals below! Not sure if a course will count toward your continuing competence requirements? Just ask us!
AOTA-Approved CEU Provider
ERI is American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) approved and follows AOTA-Approved Provider Program (APP) guidelines and criteria. To maintain our status as an AOTA-approved CEU provider, our team at ERI works to continuously improve and evaluate our course offerings to meet AOTA standards. When you choose ERI as your AOTA-approved CEU provider, you can be confident you are receiving field-relevant information about current best practices to enhance your patient care.
Why Choose ERI as Your AOTA-Approved CEU Provider?
As an AOTA-approved provider of continuing education, many high-quality and relevant professional development courses are preapproved. Our CEUs also satisfy requirements for therapists for re-certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). When you choose ERI as your AOTA CEU provider, you will experience the following benefits:
- Engaging courses that meet AOTA standards.
- Our AOTA-approved courses will count towards renewing your AOTA license.
- OT practitioners who serve as consultants or AOTA CE administrators are involved in all levels of program development.
ASHA CEU Provider
At ERI, we also have approval from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and meet all existing guidelines and criteria. As an ASHA CEU Provider, we plan, evaluate and continuously improve our courses to meet ASHA’s Continuing Education Board’s requirements. During the initial review, our courses must adhere to ASHA standards and be subject to ongoing review and a formal five-year review process.
Why Choose ERI as Your ASHA CEU Provider?
Our continuing education courses address current and future professional best practices and undergo a validation process and ASHA continuing education review to ensure all courses meet ASHA standards. Due to this rigorous review process, all of our course participants can be confident they are receiving high-quality professional development courses to meet ASHA CEU requirements to maintain their certification or licenses. Some additional benefits of choosing us as your ASHA CEU provider are:
- Many licensing agencies that require therapists to complete continuing education requirements also accept CEUs from ASHA from ASHA-certified providers.
- ASHA Certification Maintenance Requirements accept CEUS from providers with ASHA certification.
- Completing our ASHA CEUs will help you earn the Award for Continuing Education (ACE).
Our AOTA and ASHA Continuing Education Faculty
As an ASHA and AOTA-approved CEU provider, our faculty has to be at the top of their game every day. With years of experience as therapists and educators, many of our staff members helped us create our curriculums, helping us achieve our goal of creating resources designed by therapists for therapists. These internationally recognized clinicians were chosen by hand to represent people like you and to administer ASHA and AOTA continuing education opportunities across the country.

Explore Annual Conferences from Your Accredited CEU Provider
Whatever you do to help children, there is always room to improve. ERI offers continuous learning opportunities beyond the typical scope through our annual conferences. We schedule two every year — one in April and one in November — so that everyone can feel welcomed into our community. These multi-day events are great for education, group learning and networking with professionals like you.
Birth to Three Conference
We grow constantly, but we’ll never develop faster than we did throughout early childhood. The three years after birth lay the foundation for everything that comes after, and no one’s future should be left up to chance. That’s why ERI introduced the Birth to Three Conference in early 2024.
This event is open to physical, occupational, and developmental therapists, special educators, speech language pathologists, assistants and others interested in strengthening a child’s foundation for life. During the two-day event, participants will learn new skills and hands-on strategies to work with and treat pediatric patients in hospitals, outpatient facilities, home care, rehabilitation and specialty clinics. You can also gain up to 12 continuing education credits.
Therapies in the School Conference
At ERI, we believe that all students should be allotted the tools and therapies they need to succeed in the classroom setting. We practice what we preach through our annual Therapies in the School Conference, where physical therapists, special educators, speech-language pathologists and others involved in special needs therapy learn strategies to help their students improve outcomes.
We’ve hosted this conference yearly for more than two decades, welcoming newcomers and past participants alike to attend our courses and seminars where you’ll learn how you can do more for your kids. Keep an eye out for our conference announcement towards the end of the year and gain up to 12 continuing education credits.
