John Pagano
John Pagano, Ph.D., OTR/L presents workshops internationally for educators, allied health therapists, and mental health practitioners on improving self-regulation in youth with complex behavioral, developmental, cognitive, and sensory processing challenges. He has over 30 years experience as a pediatric occupational therapist working in NICU, birth-to-three, sensory integration clinic, pre-school,school, group home, and adolescent psychiatric hospital settings. Dr. Pagano is known for his humorous, interactive workshops teaching extensive practical interventions for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum and other complex behavioral and developmental challenges.
Dr. Pagano holds a B. S. degree in Occupational Therapy,M. S. in Special Education, and Ph.D. in Human Development & Family Therapy. He is certified in Occupational Therapy, Neuro-Developmental (Bobath) Treatment,QST Sensory Treatment for Autism, as well as an Instructor of Movement Based Learning and Positive Behavioral Support. Dr. Pagano conducts clinical research and maintains a full time clinical occupational therapy practice specializing in children and adolescents with complex behavioral, Autism Spectrum, cognitive,and other developmental challenges. He is a member of the AOTA School Mental Health Working Group and publishes extensively on the practical clinical applications of transdisciplinary research. Susan Cecere
Susan Cecere is the owner of Sequoia School Based Therapy Solutions, LLC a consulting company that supports districts, agencies and therapists in the practice of school-based therapy services by providing mentoring, professional development and administrative support. Sue’s career has spanned 25 years in the school based and early intervention practice settings both as a service provider and program administrator. Prior to that, she worked in a variety of settings, including acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, and home health care. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, a master’s degree in health science from Towson University, and a graduate certificate in educational leadership from McDaniel College. Cecere is an experienced speaker on school practices and its administrative considerations. She is a former physical therapy chair of the Maryland State Department of Education Steering Committee for Occupational and Physical Therapy School-Based Programs, and coauthor of the Maryland State Guide to Early Intervention and School-based Practices. She is an active member of APTA’s Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy, where she has co-authored several fact sheets on school practice issues and served as its vice president for 8 years. She has been a member of the APTA Media Corps for several years. In 2012, she received the Susan K. Effgen Award for her advocacy efforts at the state and federal levels in support of pediatrics.

Barbara Hodge
Barbara Hodge, PT, is a coordinator instructor for pediatric NDT courses andan internationally renowned instructor and a respected master clinician. She conducts workshops throughout the US as well as overseas, and is well known for her ability to take complex information and apply it in a practical, useful, and meaningful way.
Ms. Hodgehas trained with Dr. and Mrs. Bobath in London, UK and also at the Upledger Institute. She currently works in private practice where she integrates manual therapy approaches along with NDT when treating children and adults with neurologic dysfunction. In addition, Ms. Hodge consults to several school districts in Massachusetts.
Barbara will also be a keynote speaker at the Education Resources Annual Conference: Therapies in the School 2015.
Carrie Davis
Carrie Davis, SIPT, MS, OTR/L is co-founder of Connect Experience Write (CEW). A graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, she has worked in both private practice and school settings. Carrie currently evaluates and treats children with executive dysfunction, sensory processing disorder, ADHD, learning disorders and autistic spectrum disorder. She also presents locally and nationally on topics related to sensory processing and handwriting.
