Assess for stability during treatment in order to mobilize the patient as soon as possible. Steve Sadowsky, an ABPTS Certified Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Clinical Specialist (emeritus), is also an internationally recognized author, consultant, practitioner and teacher.Mr. Sadowsky is a passionate advocate for best clinical practices, and brings a wealth of experience to his course instruction. He has practiced in adult and neonatal cardiopulmonary transplantation and critical care units at large major medical centers, as well as in long-term outpatient skilled and home care settings. As an associate professor at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Steve taught in the Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum in Chicago, and was director of their Cardiovascular and Pulmonary ExerciseTesting Laboratory. Steve was a member of Item Bank Review Committee with the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy and served the APTAs American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties with distinction.
