1. Differentiate ocular vision (eyesight) vs. brain based vision (visual processing)
2. Screen for and recognize visual problems that impact learning
3. Collaborate on therapeutic interventions for vision development and visual processing
Cathy Stern
Cathy Stern, OD, FCSO, FCOVD, FNORA provides developmental, behavioral and neuro-optometric rehabilitation in private practice and as a consultant at the Massachusetts Hospital School. Dr. Stern is known for "treating the visual side of learning."
Donna McCrorey
Donna McCrorey, OTR/L is an occupational therapist at the Massachusetts Hospital School where she specializes in the care of children with multiple disabilities including: cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, head injuries and other rare genetic conditions. She collaborates with Dr. Stern to provide services to children needing visual rehabilitation.
