ERI’s New LIVE Webinar with Amanda Hall Teaches Orthotic Treatments for the Foot and Ankle

ERI is dedicated to offering exceptional continuing education courses even during these challenging times. Join Amanda Hall ATP, MSPT, PCS, PT for our newest webinar “Ambulation, Activity, & AFOs:  A Developmental Movement Systems Approach for Improving Ambulation.”

Therapists will learn to:

  • Recognize the interplay of Musculoskeletal and Neuromuscular Movement System Diagnoses and neuroplastic changes on foot and ankle dysfunction
  • Perform a detailed foot and ankle examination including gait kinematics, neuromotor function, and musculoskeletal structures
  • Develop a comprehensive plan of care for the foot and ankle to improve gait in the context of supporting the best structural outcome
  • Perform treatment techniques to address relative flexibility and promote progressive strengthening in foot and ankle for function
  • Make detailed recommendations for casting and orthotic interventions

Amanda previously served as Mary Massery’s teaching assistant and spoke at the APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) in 2019. She is an engaging speaker and experienced therapists who developed a proven framework for pediatric and neuro ankle intervention. Amanda is an expert in therapeutic casting and orthotic design based on developmental kinesiopathology, differential diagnosis, manual therapy, and alignment for therapeutic gait with individualized intervention and patient-centered designs. Amanda is a hands-on, practicing therapist who currently provides therapeutic casting as well as orthotic and assistive technology.
