We know how important it is for therapists to have the most recent techniques and knowledge to help patients experiencing a TBI on the road to recovery which why we are excited to welcome Dr. Carolyn Tassini as she presents the new course “Navigating the Challenges of Mild and Moderate TBI: Application of Evidence-Based Practice to Maximize Outcomes.” This 2-day course provides a comprehensive and evidence-based framework for maximizing the efficiency of assessment and interventions for individuals with mild through moderate injuries. Dr. Tassini is an engaging speaker and accomplished board-certified neurologic physical therapists. She will address both the functional and structural deficits, review dynamic and evidence-based interventions to optimize learning and neuroplasticity, as well as addressing the management of challenging behaviors. Case examples will be used to apply learned knowledge and provide clinicians with tools to return to practice with an improved clinical toolbox.
