Amputee Rehabilitation: Evidence-Based Strategies Across the Continuum of Care for Limb Loss

An essential course for therapists working with limb loss patients.

According to the Amputee Coalition™, there are over 2 million people living with limb loss in the United States and another 28 million at risk of amputation surgery. Current guidelines recommend therapy interactions start pre-operatively and continue through the lifespan of the patient. With this in mind, it’s imperative that OTs, PTs and other members of the multidisciplinary team are up-to-date on the latest  research and technology to improve function for the limb loss patient.

Inger Brueckner, MS, PT, is a renowned expert in the field of vestibular dysfunction and amputee rehabilitation, treating patients across the lifespan from pediatric to geriatric. Her latest course “Amputee Rehabilitation” offers a comprehensive perspective for management of the limb loss patient. This live webinar will address the evaluation and treatment of limb loss due to diabetes, vascular disease, trauma, cancer, sepsis, and congenital limb difference.

Registration is now open for this 2-day webinar that begins on July 15, 2022. Participants will earn 14 contact hours (1.4 CEUs) upon completion of this webinar.
