Building the Brain: A Neurobiological Approach to Assessment and Treatment
Robin Harwell, M.A., CCC-SLP is a dynamic instructor and clinician who takes complex information and easily applies it clinically. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in a variety of settings, including hospital, clinic, nursing home, home health, private practice and public schools.
Most notably, she spends the majority of her time working hands-on at a facility that has incorporated her brain building program. This program, GaitWay to the Brain was part of a published 2+ year study by a major university.
With all of this experience under her belt, Robin is able to offer clinicians an intensive lab course that will teach participants to use tools, based in research, to support the brain’s ability to rewire itself rather than retraining or relearning a specific skill. This live webinar will benefit clinicians in a wide range of treatment settings – from acute care and medically fragile patients, to those with behavioral and chronic issues.
