New Problem-based Course Addresses Very Low Birthweight Babies, Small Baby Teams, NAS, and the Long-term NICU Infant

Neonatal therapists take note – ERI is offering a new course “Tools and Strategies for Developmental Care of Special Populations in the NICU,” taught by Lisa Kleinz MA, SLP/L – a Certified Neonatal Therapist who has worked in level 3 NICUs for more than 20 years. This introductory-intermediate level course focuses on proven therapeutic intervention programs and provides therapists with tools, strategies, and enhanced critical problem-solving skills. Lisa will provide a case-based approach to the challenges seen in special populations including the very low birthweight infant, NAS, and the long-term NICU infant.

“Tools and Strategies for Developmental Care of Special Populations in the NICU” is a two-day course and will be offered at three locations:

  • July 20-21, 2019 at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX

  • November 9-10, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Southside in Jacksonville, FL
